Christopher William Buergey, 15, died May 17, 1995, at Fairview General Hospital following an accident on Monday, May 15, 1995.
Christopher is survived by his father, Chris J. Buergey and stepmother, Valerie, of Virginia Beach; his mother, Marilyn Buergey of North Olmsted, Ohio; brother, Dustin, age 9; sisters, Shannon, age 13, Terra, age 2 1/2, Jazmin, age 3 1/2 weeks; grandmother, Laurmel Buergey of Virginia Beach; grandparents, Alice and Don Learned of Odessa, Texas; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at the Kacirek Funeral Home, 29060 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. The Reverend Lee Rupert of St. Andrews Lutheran Church will officiate. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Christopher W. Buergey Memorial Fund, c/o Dollar Bank, 26895 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145.
Chris was a member of the 1995 Confirmation Class at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Virginia Beach. He charmed all who crossed his path by his love of life. His life will live on through his organs which were donated to others. Even in death, there is life.
