Rosanna Briggs Lewis, 76, died Friday, May 19, 1995, in her home.
She was a native of Isle of Wight County and was a member of Chapel Grove United Methodist Church of Christ, Windsor. She was on its usher board and the participated in the church school.
She is survived by two sons, Clarence Lewis of Durham, N.C., and Thomas Lewis Jr. of Zuni; one sister, Gracie Eley of Portsmouth; two brothers, Lewis Briggs of Greencastle, Penn., and Robert Briggs of Windsor, Va.; three grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Vivian R. Lewis of Durham, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:15 a.m. Monday in Chapel Grove U.C.C., Windsor, by the Rev. Joseph J. Ferguson. Burial will be in the Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Tynes-Edwards & Shivers Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The body will be in the church by 10 a.m. Monday. The family will be at 7334 Ecella Road, Zuni.
