WALTER BRANDT

Walter Brandt, 84, of the 3600 block of Gateway Dr., died May 19, 1995, in Suffolk.

He was a native of Posen, Germany, and was the widower of Celia Jacobson Brandt. He retired from Sunbeam Bakery and was a member of Gomley Chesed Synagogue, past master of Churchland Masonic Lodge (NU)276, Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies, and the Khedive Temple.

Survivors include one sister, Kate Brandt of Fleshing, N.Y.; two nephews, Roger Brandt of Capetown, South Africa, and Steve Jacobson of Richmond, Va.; and one niece, Cookie Brady of Suffolk.

The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Gomley Chesed Cemetery with Masonic Rites, by Rabbi Philip S. Krohn. Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of Gomley Chesed Synagogue. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
