HELEN W. SHEALY

Helen Weaver Shealy, 72, of the 700 block of Pinebrook Dr., died May 18, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.

She was a native of Charlottesville, Va., and was thw widow of Tirey David Shealy. She was a retired elementary school teacher with the Virginia Beach Public Schools, and was a member of Princess Anne Plaza United Methodist Church. She was in the U.S. Navy Reserve, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. She graduated from Old Dominion University, and received her B.A. with honors in Elementary Education.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia S. Shealy of Virginia Beach; two sons, Michael David Shealy of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert Alan Shealy of New Albany, Ohio; one sister, Marie Snider of Richmond, Va.; and eight grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Princess Anne Plaza United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Schill. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m., and other times at 700 Pinebrook Dr., Virginia Beach.
