Mrs. Bernice W. Trice, 74, of Drewryville, died Saturday, May 20, 1995. She is survived by her husband Edward M. Trice, her daughter Cynthia Lowery of Chesapeake, two granddaughters Samantha Simpson of Chesapeake and Sterling Simpson of Drewryville; one brother Guy L. Wingo of West Palm Beach, Fla; five sisters; Frances Britton of Hague, Va; Mable Bradd of Hayes, Va; Nora Berry of Hickory, N.C; Dallas Holland of Hampton; Rachel Bailey of Richmond and a number of nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd. Jarratt, Va. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. Trice, 22440 Drewry Rd; Drewryville, Va. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Drewryville. Interment will be 3:30 p.m. in Heritage Baptist Church Cemetery, Churchview, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.
