PEARL I. NIELSEN

Pearl I. Nielsen, 64, of 66 North Point Blvd., Moyock, and formerly of Virginia Beach, died at her daughter's residence on Thursday, May 18, 1995.

She was born in Wyoming County, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late John N. Bennett and Eva Mills Bennett Hubbard. She was the widow of Albert A. Nielsen. She was a member of Suburban Christian Church of Kempsville, a past member of the Tidewater Board of Realtors, and the Million Dollar Sales Club. She had retired from real estate sales with Dick Kelly Enterprises in Norfolk and was formerly with Virginia Realty Company in Virginia Beach. Prior to her real estate career, she was a bookkeeper for twenty years.

Survivors include two daughters, Polly Boyd of Virginia Beach and Susie Rash of Moyock, N.C.; one son, John N. Nielsen of Moyock, N.C.; seven sisters, Betty Hartsock of Middletown, Del., Polly Tankersley of Bellview, Fla., June Chernutan of Marietta, Ga., Naomi Hale of Independence, Mo., Judy Harrington of Newark, Del., Amario Smith of Lashmeet, W.Va., and Deb Wyrick of Brunswick, Ohio; three brothers, Lloyd Bennett of Lashmeet, W.Va., Frank Bennett of Joppa, Md., and John Bennett of Jacksonville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 21, in the Chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. James A. Meads. Her final resting place will be at Turkey Knob, W.Va. The family will be at 14 North Point Blvd., Moyock.

There will be no viewing or visitation. The family suggests that memorials be made to the building fund of Suburban Christian Church, 5132 Bellamy Manor Dr., Virginia Beach, Va., or to the Albemarle Hospice, P.O. Box 189, Elizabeth City, N.C. 27907-0189, or to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
