A Virginia Beach woman who was seriously injured in an automobile accident on Wednesday died Saturday in a hospital, police reported.
Lois T. Pirrone, of the 4600 block of Paul Revere Road, was injured when her car was hit by another vehicle at the intersection of Independence Boulevard and Ewell Road. She was being treated at Virginia Beach General Hospital.
The accident is under investigation, police said.
