ELEANOR M. SUMMERS

Eleanor M. Summers, 59, of the 3500 block of B Gatling Ave., a bus driver, died May 20, 1995, in a Virginia Beach health care facility after a long term illness.

Mrs. Summers was born in Pensacola, Fla. She was employed with TRT as a bus driver after seven years. She was a member of St. Paul C.O.G.I.C. and was a graduate of NSU. She was predeceased by her parents, Mildred McLeod and Ernest McLeod.

Survivors include three daughters, Deniece Bizzell of Beacon, N.Y. and Betty Goodwin and Anita Southerland, both of Norfolk; two sons, Henry Summers and Terrace Summers, both of Norfolk; four sisters, Ernestine Southerland, Juanita Mercy, Lois Mosley and Marquetta Phillips; three brothers, Joseph McLeod, Benjamin McLeod and Leon Hogan; and grandchildren, Derek Summers, Erick Goodwin, Vincent Summers, Daniel Summers, Geanita Southerland and Char-Lette Bizzell.

The funeral will be held Friday, May 26, 1995 in her home town of Pensacola, Fla. A wake will be held Tuesday in Hale Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Remains will be shipped to Reeds Funeral Home, Pensacola, Fla., for services.
