Micheal Neal Gipson, 19, of the 3200 block of Crocus Lane, a merchandise stocker, died May 18, 1995.
Mr. Gipson was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a member of St. Thomas AMEZ and was employed with Sears Department Stores.
Survivors include his parents, Salome Agulian Gipson and Cornelius Gipson III; a sister, Michelle Maria Gipson; a grandmother; Mrs. Margaret Gipson Brooks; also a nurturing factor in Micheal's development was a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maria Taguinod, now deceased; two aunts, Mrs. Ising Patten and Mrs. Denise Gipson; eight uncles, Mr. Ontry Patten, Mr. Ronald Gross, Mr. Vernon Gross, Mr. Charles Gipson, Mr. Kenneth Gipson, Mr. Lawrence Gipson, Mr. Paulino Aguilan and Mr. Gregorio Aguilan of the Philippines; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas AMEZ, 1700 Melon St., Norfolk, by the Rev. G.L. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. The family will receive friends in Riddick Funeral Service from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. All other times they will be at the residence.
