Jessica Ryann Glover, 5, of the 3300 block of Brookside Lane, died May 22, 1995, in her home.
Jessica, born in Portsmouth on Jan. 29, 1990, was the daughter of David I. ``Smokey'' Glover and Sheila Early Glover. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Lou Jane Early; her paternal grandmother, Martha F. Glover; an aunt, Sherry M. Early; and her god-parents, Wayne and Connie Thurnher, all of Portsmouth. Survivors also include a large family of friends and relatives. Jessica's parents wish to acknowledge the family members, friends and health care professionals who have shown their love and support throughout Jessica's illness.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Centenary United Methodist Church by the Rev. Donald H. Seely and the Rev. Clara P. Gestwick. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to: Edmarc Hospice for Children; Make-A-Wish Foundation; or Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
