Clara Elizabeth Dudley Griffin, 74, of Virginia Beach, died May 21, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Griffin was born in Easton, Md. She was the daughter of Norman S. Dudley and Clara Elizabeth Walls Dudley. She was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Shade W. Griffin; a daughter, Eleanor D. Griffin of South Royalton, Vt.; a son, Charles D. Griffin, and his wife, Susan V. Griffin of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brothers, Norman, Charles and Phillip Dudley; two grandchildren, Christine and Shade Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Star of the Sea Catholic Church by Fr. Michael Breslin. Burial will be in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Star of the Sea Catholic Church Building Fund. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
