Joseph Edward Kowalski, 89, of Virginia Beach, died May 21, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Kowalski was born in Poland and was a retired printer for Graphics Arts Industry. He was married for 41 years to Olga Menich who died in 1982. He was Catholic.
Survivors include one son, Joseph A. Kowalski of Virginia Beach; one sister, Lorraine Kulpinski of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jodi McKenzie, Karen Kowalski, and Deborah Kowalski; two great-grandchildren, Lauren Clarke and Dalton McKenzie; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted today at 11 a.m. by Father Lou Ruoff in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be in St. Lucas Cemetery, Chicago, Ill. Memorial donations may be made to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8600 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Ill. 60656 or the American Cancer Society.
