Bennett Winston and his mother, Agnes, stand on the porch of their
former home, the Winston Cottage on 23rd Street at the Oceanfront.
The two were among many graduates of the old Oceana High School
celebrating reunions last weekend. Bennett Winston, a member of the
Class of 1945, and his classmates had a special dinner in his old
home. Agnes Winston was a member of the Oceana Class of 1920. She
and her husband built the cottage in the 1920s. The old beach
cottage will open this season as a restaurant, Tautog's.
