RALPH FLOYD SIMONE

Ralph Floyd Simone, 64, of the 5500 block of Springhill Road, died Monday, May 22, 1995, in Norfolk. He was self-employed with Renee Jewelers.

Mr. Simone, a Catholic, was born in Syracuse, N.Y. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having retired after 23 1/2 years of service. He was a member of the Willis V. Fentress Lodge (NU)296, A.F. & A.M. He was a member of the Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies. He also belonged to the Fraternal Order of Police Commodore Lodge (NU)3, Mini Model T Unit and the Fleet Reserve Norfolk Branch 5.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Simone; one daughter, Renee Shook and two sons, Dr. Michael Simone and Vincent Simone, all of Norfolk; one sister, Darlyn Pelamater of Bernhards Bay, N.Y., one brother, James Simone and his wife, Jane of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, three nephews and one niece.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26 at Khedive Temple, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Khedive Temple, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake. Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Shriner Crippled Children's Hospital, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, Va., 23320.
