Eric Michael Lincoln, born April 25, 1991, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, May 23, 1995, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He closed his eyes in a painless, peaceful slumber.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne Edwin Lincoln Jr. and Sharon Kay Kinsey Lincoln; his big brother, Wayne Edwin III; Franklin and Evelyn Kinsey, maternal grandparents; Wayne Edwin Lincoln Sr. and Mildred Hlas, paternal grandparents; precious other family members and friends.
Eric's life and strength was a living testimony for so many people. He fought a good fight and we all kept the faith. Eric instilled in all of us a lesson of perserverance and determination, regardless of the consequences. He made a wish to see Mickey Mouse and Pluto, and his wish was fulfilled by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 26, 1995, at the Lynnhaven Chapel at 3 p.m., Pastor Bruce Smith officiating.
