David P. Culpepper, 70, of the 8100 block of Foxdale Drive, died May 22, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Culpepper was born in Portsmouth and was a Methodist. He was retired as a tenant accounting manager from Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority after 27 years. He was a member of Atlantic Masonic Lodge (NU)2, AF & AM; a graduate of the Maritime Academy of New York and a Maritime Service veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Janell Culpepper; two daughters, Linda Miller Chapman of Virginia Beach and Janell Wilson of Norfolk; a sister, Jessie Culpepper Adamson of Norfolk; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Frank Drake. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
