DOROTHY B. FREEMAN

Dorothy B. ``Dottie B.'' Freeman of the 5900 block of Lockamy Lane, a retired dietician, died May 22, 1995.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Norfolk and was the widow of John Freeman. She was retired from the Norfolk city schools and was a member of Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include a son, George Stinson Jr. of Norfolk; five sisters, Mary Gay, Sarah Sanderlin, Hazel Bailey and Delina Robinson, all of Norfolk, and Vernice Rice of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, George Brehon, James Brehon and Vernon Brehon, all of Norfolk; grandchildren, Belinda Whittaker of Chesapeake, Avis Sutton of Norfolk and George Stinson of Fort Benning, Ga.; two foster grandsons, Benjamin Riddick of Norfolk and Bobbie Baker of Boston, Mass.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church, Norfolk, by Rev. Dr. Richard A. Council. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
