Rosetta Mae Chapman, 75, died May 22, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Maryville, Tenn. She retired from Sears Drapery Department, and was the widow of Everett R. Chapman.
Survivors include two sons, Roger D. Nelson and his wife, Carole of Virginia Beach and W. Terry Nelson and his wife, Barbara of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Roger and Tracy Nelson of Virginia Beach and Lisa Nelson of Norfolk; a sister, Bonnie Hensley of Townsend, Tenn.; a brother, Arch Hitch of Hopkinsville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 1995, in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of Roger Nelson at 5605 E. Worcester Drive in Virginia Beach and W. Terry Nelson at 3629 Pamlico Circle in Norfolk. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
