Connie Ethel Allman Carr, 88, of the 200 block of Leonard Road, died May 22, 1995, in Suffolk.
Mrs. Carr was born in West Virginia and was the widow of Ellett Carr. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, LaVina Wissman and Mildred Phillips, both of Portsmouth, and Beatrice Kesling of Parksersburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Ollie Shires of Portsmouth and Reva Williams of Lewisburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Ralph H. Carr and Denver L. Carr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Don Sheffield. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
