A man who was shot several times in the 800 block of Wide St. on Saturday has died, a police spokesman reported.
Wilfredo Velez, 48, of Virginia Beach, died Saturday at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Police said the shooting appears to have stemmed from a dispute. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is continuing, police said.
