Grand larceny, 100 block Timberneck Arch, May 7, someone removed a 2-carat diamond cluster 14-karat gold ring valued at $2,000 from a residence.
Breaking and entering (garage), 3600 block Wonderland Drive, May 8, someone broke into a garage through the side door and removed a Master Cut riding lawnmower valued at $1,200 and a Lowe's self-propelling lawnmower valued at $290.

Hit and run (property), Clay and West Washington streets, May 4, someone driving a Chevette struck an '86 Chevrolet pickup and left the scene without giving any information.
Hit and run (property), 1200 block North Main St., May 4, a mid-sized blue car backed into a parked vehicle and left the scene.
Petit larceny, 400 block West Washington St., May 6, someone removed a black and green boys' Roadmaster Mountain bike while the owner was in the library.
Strong-arm robbery, West Washington and North Broad streets, May 9, someone was approached by a person who left a parked vehicle and demanded money. $20 was taken, the person re-entered his vehicle and drove away.

Petit larceny, 800 block East Washington St., May 4, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle taken in for repairs.
Breaking and entering (attempt, house), 100 block South 12th St., May 5, someone attempted to pry open a rear screen door to a house, causing $40 worth of damage.
Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, Kissimmee Avenue, May 6, someone allowed a person to use his vehicle but it was not returned on the specified date.
Grand larceny, 2100 block Arizona Ave., someone removed a black leather pocketbook containing $470, charge cards, a checkbook and a set of car keys from a bedroom dresser.

Grand larceny, 200 block North Capitol St., May 5, someone entered a residence through an unlocked door and removed an RCA VCR.
Lost property, 600 block West Liberty Spring Road, May 5, a city sticker was lost while in the process of being transferred from one car to another.

Detective R.L. Ross seeks help to find the person responsible for
a burglary that occurred May 9.
Someone entered a residence in the 300 block of Cullodan St. by
prying open a back door. Missing were a Optimus VCR, an Optimus
portable radio system (CD, cassette, AM/FM radio) and a variety of
jewelry, consisting of gold chains and rings (sizes 4, 7, 9).
