Queen E. Barnes, 74, of the 2800 block of Victoria Ave., died May 22, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was born in Norfolk, daughter of the late Eva Cahon Barnes and John Barnes. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Chesapeake.
She is survived by Irene Veale, Curtis Veale and cousins.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, in Bethany Baptist Church, 2587 Campostella Road, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Jake Manley. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 2811 Victoria Ave., Norfolk, at 1 p.m. Saturday for the funeral processional to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge.
