Shelia Marie Hamblin, 47, of the 4600 block of Kennebeck Ave., a private duty nurse, died May 22, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Hamblin was born in New Bedford, Mass. She was an extraordinary person and multi-talented, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was also an ordained minister. Mrs. Hamblin was a helper of people, a helper of nature and a helper of spirit.
Survivors include her husband, C.E. ``Lefty'' Hamblin; a daughter, Tiffany McLeod of Cambridge, Mass.; two stepdaughters, Susan and Kathy of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Sharon, Robin and Rhonda, and two brothers, Walter and Chester Jr., all of Massachusetts; four grandchildren; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Rusinoski of Mattapoisett, Mass. She was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Lee Rusinoski.
A private service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the residence, 4619 Kennebeck Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
