POLICE ARE SEEKING TWO SUSPECTS AFTER MAN'S SHOOTING DEATH

A 20-year-old Suffolk man died of a gunshot wound Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Chumley Road, a police spokesman said.

Craig M. Robertson, of the 1500 block of West Adams Drive, was found in a hallway about 3:20 p.m. He died from a single gunshot wound to the body, police said.

Police are looking for two suspects last seen leaving the area in an early model white Ford Mustang, possibly a 1965 or 1966 model.

The driver is described as a white male, 18 to 23 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown shoulder-length hair. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, an aqua blue shirt and black knee-length shorts.

The other suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Line at 488-7777.
