The Norfolk City Council on Tuesday scheduled a public hearing

for June 20 on the proposed application by Calvary Revival Church to

build a school at 2357 E. Little Creek Road. A MetroNews story

Wednesday incorrectly stated that the council approved the

application. Details, Page B3.

The Omni Waterside Hotel in Norfolk has not changed local

management, as stated in a BusinessNews digest item Wednesday. Only

the structure of the owner partnership has changed. Prudential Real

Estate Investors has joined the existing partnership of Intertech

Corp. and HEI Hotels, which owns and manages the hotel.

A photo on Wednesday's MetroNews front showed Eric Lincoln, who

died Tuesday of leukemia, playing with his 15-year-old brother,

Wayne Lincoln III. The brother was misidentified in the caption.

The number of enlisted personnel in the Navy is 384,200. A chart

on Wednesday's Military News page had a garbled number.

There were some errors in the Scholastic Achievement section

Wednesday:

Cynthia Hanawalt, a senior at Great Bridge High School in

Chesapeake, will attend Duke University. The wrong university was

mentioned in her student bio.

Dr. Jill Losee-Hoehlein is an advanced-placement biology teacher

at Great Bridge High. Her name was misspelled in the story about the

top Scholastic Achievement scholar.
