I am outraged once again by the government's (and corporate America's) attempt to force me to eat foods altered by hormones or bacteria designed to enhance profits of these corporations rather than by health.
Some months ago, the government approved the addition of a growth hormone to increase milk production, even though public-opinion polls indicated widespread opposition to this decicion.
Now we are told that the ``pesticide-in-a-potoato'' will be in the grocery stores soon, but will not be so labeled, so that we will not be given a chance to reject this risky product. The Union of Concerned Scientists warns us of the possibility of unintended consesquences of this experiment.
