Barbara Elizabeth Albee Salles, 56, of the 100 block of S. Palm Ave., a loving mother and grandmother, died May 24, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Salles, a native of Sullivan Harbor, Maine, was the widow of Henrico Beltrano Salles. Mrs. Salles was a member of the Woman's Naval Retirement Assocation.
Survivors include two daughters, Grace Smith of Portsmouth and Karen Albee Salles of Virginia Beach; three sons, Henry D. Salles of Lanikai, Hawaii, Steven Earl Salles and Mark Salles, both of Virginia Beach; her mother, Natlie Albee of Sullivan Harbor, Maine; a son-in-law, Reginald E. Smith of Kentucky; five sisters; two brothers; and eight grandchildren who will miss their grandmother the most.
Burial will be at sea with the dolphins and whales in the calm waters and fair winds off the coast of Honolulu, Hawaii. The family will be at Mrs. Salles' home at 130 S. Palm Ave. in Virginia Beach.
