Stuart Winston Bennett, 57, a former Norfolk resident, passed away May 25, 1995, after a brief illness at his home in Pompano Beach, Fla.
He was born in June 15, 1937, in Norfolk, the son of Louise LaNeave Bennett and the late Dr. Stuart O. Bennett. Stuart graduated from Maury High School in 1955 and from the College of William and Mary in 1959. He moved to Florida in 1962. He was a systems analyst for Broward County, Fla., and operated a computer programming service for small businesses.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Bennett of Monroe, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Hugh (Susan) Tucker of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Kate) Detlefsen of Lake Zurich, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Newcomer of Monroe, Wis.; and four grandchildren.
Services are being held in Florida.
