Thank you for the article on RU486 (news, May 16). I believe that people now will realize what an insidious and dangerous poison is being foisted upon the American public by a profit-minded foreign pharmaceutical company and a sympathetic FDA.
There is nothing more dangerous to unborn and hence ``right-less'' people than an abortifacient that allows women to kill their babies with none of the ``icky'' manifestations of a dilation and evacuation.
As a physician, I know that Americans are always looking for a ``magic pill'' for almost any illness, one that will make all their problems go away. Now the abortion industry has given them a pill that will make abortion as easy as having a heavy period.
Since abortion-minded physcians will do whatever is legal, citizens concerned about the life of the unborn must work to make abortion and RU486 illegal.
