Earle J. Kerpelman, M.D., 71, of the 5700 block of Albright Drive, died May 26, 1995, in his home.
Dr. Kerpelman was a native of Baltimore and a resident of Virginia Beach. He was a member of Congregation Beth Chaverim in Virginia Beach. He was a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, and practiced for 30 years in the Snug Harbor section of Norfolk. Dr. Kerpelman was a caring person who loved humanity.
Survivors include his wife, Iris E. Kerpelman of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Sally K. Schaffner of York Country, Va., Ruth K. Smith of Virginia Beach, Sheila A. Kerpelman of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Betty K. Brown of Richmond, Va., Sue K. Galumbeck of Virginia Beach; a brother, Howard Kerpelman of Yorktown, Va.; and two grandchildren, Sylvia Smith and Jeremy Schaffner.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by Rabbi Israel Zoberman. Memorial donations may be made to Congregation Beth Chaverim. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
