Pinkie Louise Thompkins, 78, of the 5600 block of Plummer Blvd., died May 23, 1995, in Maryview Hospital.
Mrs. Thompkins was born in McDuffie County, Ga., and was a member of United House of Prayer For All People, Portsmouth, and the (NU)1 Usher Board.
Survivors include four daughters, Savannah Woodard and Ruby T. Butler, both of Suffolk, Essie Brown and Mary Evans, both of Portsmouth; a sister, Essie Pearl Worrells of Thompson, Ga.; two brothers, Harvey Worrells of Thompson and Paul Worrells of Maryland; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; one son-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in United House of Prayer For All People, Turnpike Road, Portsmouth, by Pastor Willie Rodgers. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin at noon Sunday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Monday.
