Two Memorial Day events, traditional here since the 19th century, are scheduled Monday morning.
A 9 a.m. ceremony at the Naval Medical Center will honor 150 men from around the world buried on the hospital grounds. Capt. William R. Klemm, commanding officer of the Nval Shipyard and a 25-year Navy veteran, will speak and the I.C. Norcom High School Band will play.
At 10 a.m. the annual Memmorial Day Parade will march down London Boulevard to Crawford Street and proceed to a High Street reviewing stand, where World War II veterans will be honored.
Paced by the U.S. Continental Army Band, the parade will include six other bands among 75 units in the parade.
