DRUNKEN DRIVERS PAY

I favor the laws against underage drinking. Lowering the legally intoxicated blood-alcohol level was a very good idea. Fines are also good.

If you are caught drinking and driving you should be barred from driving. During that time, you should attend classes, and you should have to work in the emergency room of a local hospital on weekends. If a drunken driver actually sees the pain he inflicts, he may think about it the next time he gets behind the wheel.

Children need to be educated at an earlier age of the facts and penalties of drinking. Advertisers should also be careful. They make drinking sound ``cool.''
