Cleo Bracy Minton, 72, of the 300 block of Pecan St., a homemaker, died May 28, 1995, in Halifax Memorial Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
Mrs. Minton was born in Northampton County, N.C. She was the widow of Joseph Winston Minton and was a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church, Roxobel.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Goodwin of Yorktown, Va.; a son, Gene Minton of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; three sisters, Nealie Parker of Roxobel, Ruth Parker of Rich Square, N.C., and Virginia Wise of Suffolk; a brother, Frank W. Bracy of Rich Square; four grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sybil W. Minton of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; and son-in-law, H.S. ``Sonny'' Goodwin Jr. of Yorktown.
The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Roxobel-Kelford Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Jones. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, in charge. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorial donations may be made to the Roanoke Chowan Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910.
