Mr. A. Winston McGlauhon, known to many as ``Captain Mac,'' 88, died May 27, 1995.
Mr. McGlauhon was born in Norfolk. He had retired from Mutual Savings & Loan Co. after 60 years. He was a member of Norview Lions Club and Knights of the Pythias Lodge 106. He was the first member of the Norview Lions after the club received its charter.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret H. McGlauhon; a daughter, Louise McGlauhon Ramirez; four grandchildren, John Winston Jenkins, Rudy James Ramirez, David William Klaus and Alfred Foster Hancock III; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and cousins.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by his nephew, the Rev. Robert Lee Boggs. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
