Christopher Scott Owens, 24, of the 100 block of Appomattox Ave., died May 27, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Owens was a native of Portsmouth.
Survivors include his father, Gary W. Owens of Portsmouth and step-father, Thomas H. Majette of Portsmouth; one sister, Jennifer Maas of Portsmouth; maternal grandmother, Florine A. Lester of Portsmouth; paternal grandmother, Elenor Owens of Matthews; fiance, Ashlin Murden of Portsmouth; and three nieces, Tracy L. Owens, Brandy C. Maas and Shelby R. Maas, all of Portsmouth.
The graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, May 31, 1995, at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Sylvester E. Hathaway III in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland is handling arrangements. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
