Dorothy Jean Manning, 70, of the 1100 block of Pascal Place, a retired civil service employee, died May 28, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Manning was born in Norfolk and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Supply Center after 18 years. She was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include her husband, Percy E. Manning; two daughters, Sharleen Barnes of Norfolk and Doretha Pattison of Hollywood, Md.; a son, Clyde Michael Williams of Norfolk; two stepsons, Robert R. Manning and Joseph E. Manning, both of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Doretha Barker and Helen Fisher both of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Stacy Kay Rogers, Dorothy Jean Rogers, Teresa Jean Pattison, Dorothy Marie Williams and Gregory John Pattison; and three great-grandchildren, Brittany, Robert and Katherine.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Pastor Terry Clark of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
