Joseph Francis Bogdanski Sr., 67, of the 4400 block of Bowden Ave., a retired budget analyst, died May 28, 1995, in a local hospital.
He was born in Easthampton, Mass., and was retired from the U.S. government. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Moose Lodge (NU)39 and Moose Legion (NU)199.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Adams Bogdanski; a son, Joseph Francis Bogdanski Jr. and his wife, Maria of Columbia, Md.; two sisters, Helen Niedjela of Hadley, Mass., and Sophie Kubaci of Easthampton, Mass.; and a granddaughter, Kelly.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Father William J. Dail. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7800 Halprin Drive, Norfolk.
