THANKS TO MADDRY

I thought I would need to spend my usual hour or so to write an editorial, this one expressing my outrage at Kirby Burch, our (so-called) state conservation director who shot the two wild pigs with his handgun by the side of the road at False Cape State Park.

Thanks to Larry Maddry, I can rest easy. His May 10th column was a sarcastic masterpiece and reflected perfectly my feelings!

You may be sure I have mailed my request for Ole Kirby's free pistol-packin' services. But seriously, Larry, don't you agree he would make a great Grand Pooh-bah for the next Doo Dah parade?
