Willie Charles Jones, 76, of the 900 block of Galt St., died May 27, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Jones was born in Hertford County, N.C., and was retired as the operator of Jones Barber Shop. He was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church and chairman of the Deacon Board.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth C. Jones; a daughter, Dr. Barbara J. White of Atlanta; a brother, Harvey Lee Jones; three grandchildren, Krystal, Michael and Kalonji. He was predeceased by his mother, Pattie Sessoms; father, Harvey Lee Jones; sisters, Rosa White and Nellie Riddick; and a brother, Washington Jones.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Queen Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Peter Wherry. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
