A convenience-store clerk was shot in an apparent robbery early Tuesday, police said.
The incident happened shortly after midnight at the 7-Eleven in the 2100 block of Bainbridge Blvd. Police spokesman Dick Black said a man robbed the clerk, and then shot her. Her injuries were not life-threatening, Black said.
Black declined to identify the victim at the family's request.
Police do not have a suspect in custody, Black said.
