Police are looking for a man who robbed the First Virginia Bank in the 3100 block of Virginia Beach Blvd. Tuesday morning, a spokesman said.

At 10:05 a.m., the lone man presented the teller with a note demanding money and implying that he was armed, police said. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police described the suspect as a white man, 35 to 45 years old, with a thin build and short dirty blond hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a shirt with horizontal stripes, white tennis shoes and a white ball cap with a green brim.
