CRIME REPORT - SUFFOLK

DISTRICT A

Grand larceny, 3600 block Ithica Trail, May 12, several items removed from a vehicle, including a Sony CD player, several CDs, a Seiko watch and Oakley sunglasses. Entry was gained by breaking out driver's side window.

Grand larceny, 5500 block Weatherby Way, May 12, three vehicles entered by breaking out driver's side window. Stolen items included dash-mounted Alpine AM/FM radios, CD players, CDs, a Motorolla telphone and an amplifier.

Grand larceny, 4600, 4700 and 4800 blocks Schooner Boulevard, May 14, three vehicles entered. Items removed included CD player, CD case with CDs, a child's car seat, AM/FM radios, a Craftsman tool kit and a Cannon automatic camera.

Vandalism, 4700 block Schooner Boulevard, May 14, vehicle window broken. Other vehicles vandalized with paint in the 500 block of South Main Street and by breaking windows in the 400 block of Van Buren Street.

Grand larceny, 2800 block Bridge Road, May 15, Sharp CD player boom box, a 27'' GE color TV and a GE VCR removed from a church.

Lost or stolen, 6100 block Townpoint Road, May 16, Ohio license plate lost or stolen from a 1979 Blazer.

DISTRICT B

Breaking and entering, 200 block Burnetts Way, May 11, someone entered a residence and removed several pieces of jewelry valued at $3,100.

Breaking and entering, 4300 block Godwin Boulevard, May 13, someone entered business and removed metal cash box containing about $508 in cash and checks.

Grand larceny, 100 block Woodlake Terrace, May 15, someone removed 50 sheets of 7x16 plywood valued at $450 from a house under construction.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering, 1200 block Holland Road, May 11, someone gained entry to business by breaking in front window. About $200 removed from a hidden cash box.

Larceny, 2600 block Wood Creek Court, May 12, a 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun removed from a residence.

Breaking and entering, 300 block South Saratoga Street, May 12, someone entered business and removed an AT&T tan telephone from office.

Attempted armed robbery, 800 block West Constance Road, May 12, someone approached by a man while leaving the store. The man showed a handgun and demanded money. When the person refused, the man fired a shot, which went through the victim's shoe. The victim fled.

Petit larceny, 600 block Cannon Street, May 13, someone entered a yard and removed front license plate from vehicle.

Felony hit-and-run, 100 block Lee Street, May 14, someone driving a 2-door, white, 84 Mustang hit a '89 Chevrolet truck and left the scene.

Grand larceny, 400 block South Wellons Street, May 15, someone removed a Davis P-380 from an upstairs bedroom.

Breaking and entering, 500 block Kilby Avenue, May 15, someone forced open rear door of a house and removed a 19-inch Zenith color TV, a 19-inch black-and-white TV, a JVC VCR and assorted jewelry. Telephone lines to the house were cut, disabling alarm system.

Petit larceny, 130 Brewer Avenue, May 15, someone removed a gray/black 18-speed Shadow Rider mountain bike from back yard.

Breaking and entering, 400 block North Main Street, May 16, someone broke out the front window of a business and removed a variety of clothing.

Grand larceny, 100 block North Main Street, May 16, store customer removed three diamond rings valued at $7,252 while store personnel were putting out merchandise.

Petit larceny, 500 block Mason Avenue, May 16, someone removed a dark purple and black, 26-inch girl's 10-speed bicycle. The initials ``JSM'' are underneath the handle bar beam.

Petit larceny, 1700 block North Main Street, May 16, someone entered a vehicle and removed a Motorola cellular phone.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Pine Street, May 16, someone entered a residence and removed a red, 18-speed Road Master bicycle from living room.

DISTRICT D

Armed robbery, 200 block South Main Street, May 11, two men approached another and robbed him at gun point of $14 and gold chains.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Mill Street, May 12, someone entered a residence and removed a Zenith 19-inch color TV.

Grand larceny, 400 block York Street, May 13, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a Kenwood stereo cassette player.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Pleasant Street, someone entered business by pushing out an air conditioner. Television, cassette player, two hair dryers and an assortment of colognes were removed.

Petit larceny, 1100 block Wilroy Road, May 14, someone broke out a driver's rear-side window and removed two 8-inch speakers from the back seat.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Locust Street, May 14, someone entered a residence by prying open a bedroom window. A ring was removed.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Central Avenue, May 16, someone entered a house by removing a side window from its frame. Occupants saw this person standing in a doorway leading to the living room and left the house to call the police.

DISTRICT F

Petit larceny, 2300 block Hosier Road, May 11, inspection sticker and Suffolk city decal removed from vehicle while owner was out of town.

Larceny, 2500 Whaleyville Boulevard, May 16, someone removed a green 1990 Kawasaki KX60 dirt bike from a garage without permission. by CNB
