GEORGE A. SHEEK

George Albert Sheek, 79, of the 4900 block of West Norfolk Road, died May 31, 1995, in a hospital.

Mr. Sheek, a native of Norfolk County, was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station as a supply supervisor after 32 years. He was a 52-year member of Churchland Masonic Lodge 276; a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies; Khedive Temple; past president of the Portsmouth Shrine Club; and a member of the Arab Patrol, of which he served as secretary and treasurer for a number of years. He was also a member of Portsmouth Elks Lodge 82; the American Legion; and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include several cousins and many good friends.

A graveside service with Masonic rites will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Olive Branch Cemetery. Friends may join the family Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Shrine Crippled Children's Hospital.
