MARIAN J. CLEMENTS

Marian Jeannette Clements, 67, of the first block of Byers Ave., died May 30, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Warren, Pa., she was the widow of Edward W. Clements Sr. Mrs. Clements was program director for Peter Pan Kindergarten Day Care where she worked for 27 years. She was a past member of Simonsdale Civic League.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynne E. Cooper of Chester, Va.; two sons, Edward W. Clements Jr. and Paul A. Clements, both of Portsmouth; a sister, Joyce Rothmann of Delray Beach, Fla.; a brother, Patrick Spattifor of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren, Joshua Clements and Jordan Clements.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. James C. Griffin. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
