George B. Pangilinan, 61, died May 30, 1995, in his residence.
He was born in Masantol Province, Philippines and was the widower of Adoracion G. Pangilinan. He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Mess Specialist 1st class petty officer after 21 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Alica Pangilinan, Mabella Pangilinan and Celia Munson, all of Virginia Beach; two sons, George G. Pangilinan of Capistrano Beach, Calif. and Anthony G. Pangilinan of Quezon City, Philippines; three sisters, Floroncia Jimenez, Natividad Cunanon and Aurora Fiqueroa; five brothers, Graciano Pangilinan, Segundo Pangilinan, Primitivo Pangilinan, Sergio Pangilinan and Eduardo Pangilinan; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
