Hildred Delcambre Abshire, 70, died May 31, 1995, in a Lafayette, La., hospital.
Mrs. Abshire was a native of Iberia Parish, La., and a resident of New Iberia. She was the widow of Roland L. Abshire Sr. and was also predeceased by her parents, Odilon and Emie LeBlanc Delcambre.
Survivors include two sons, Roland Lawrence ``Larry'' Abshire Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Philip Thomas ``Phil'' Abshire of New Iberia; a granddaughter, Melissa Gail Abshire of New Iberia; three brothers, Dr. O.P. Delcambre of Portsmouth, Va., Samuel Delcambre of Loreauville, La. and Sampson Delcambre of Abbeville, La.; three sisters, Peggy Motty, Nell Calahan, both of New Iberia and Katie Peltin of Fort Worth, Texas.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in St. Peters's Catholic Church with Msgr. Guy Lemoine officiating. Visiting hours will be from 8 a.m. until the service. Interment will be in Holy Family Mausoleum. Evangeline Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
