Cleo White Dildy, 65, of Route 1, died May 27, 1995, in Roanoke Chowan hospital.
Mrs. Dildy was a native of Suffolk and daughter of the late Charlie White and Florida W. Wilkins. She was a member of St. Stephen's Holiness Church, Whaleyville, president of the Missionary Society, church treasurer, Deaconess and member of the Senior Choir.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Dildy; two daughters, Dianne Eure and Mary Wilkins, both of Suffolk; two sons, James White Sr. of Waterbury, Conn., and Clifton White of Sunbury, N.C.; two brothers, Leroy White of Suffolk and William Wilkins of Bronx, N.Y.; three sisters, Mamie Fleetwood, Ida Welch and Betty Goodman, all of Suffolk; seven grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; one uncle; two aunts; three brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Stephen Holiness Church, Whaleyville, by Elder William Taylor. Burial will be in Langston Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at noon Saturday. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge.
