Nettie Vaugham Pulley, 85, a resident of Boykins, died Wednesday, May 31, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.
She was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and was daughter of the late James Arthur and Emily Gray Vaugham. She was a member of Newsoms Baptist Church and was the widow of Roy Thomas Pulley Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Lucille Pulley Vick of Boykins; a son, James Arthur Pulley of Courtland; five grandchildren, James Arthur Pulley Jr., Roy T. Pulley, Dennis Wayne Pulley, P.J. Pulley and Sarah Lee Pulley; and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of an infant son, the late Frank Pulley.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. Charles Alvis and the Rev. Kenneth Williams. The family will receive friends at Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
