Bernard Williams, 59, of the 1500 block of Cavalier Blvd., a retired truck driver, died June 2, 1995, in a Hampton hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in Ayden, N.C. He was a member of St. Mark Church of Deliverance for 13 years and head of the Male Usher Board.
Survivors include his wife, B. Jean Williams; five daughters, Wanda Jean Flowers of Woodbridge, Va., Bernadette Beckwith of Ft. Barnwell, N.C., Carrie Hart of Kinston, N.C., Regina Ratcliff of Portsmouth and Veronica Rawlings of Virginia Beach; four sons, Michael O. Williams Sr. of Woodbridge, Va., Reginald Black Jr. and Adrian Black, both of Portsmouth, and Christopher Black of Germany; a sister, Velma Moore of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, Rev. Lonnie G. Williams of Wilmington, N.C., and F.O. Williams of Portsmouth; and 14 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at St. Mark Church of Deliverance, 615 Washington St., by Bishop Marion Jones. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by Fisher Funeral Home. The body will be taken to church at 11 a.m. Tuesday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
